What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We will use information we have about you, provided to us, to contact you or to issue invoices. Your data is securely kept, and we do not share any of the data with third parties.

The Mail Barn is committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining the security of any personal data received from you. Strictly adhering to the data protection legislation in the UK.

Therefore, when you contact us to make an enquiry, we will ask you for your name, phone number and email address, and dates of checking in/out.

Once you become our customer (by booking and purchasing our services), we will ask you additionally for your address details, post code. We will retain your personal data for as long as you are an active customer plus 7 complete financial years of the company from your last recorded activity, in line with Financial and Accounting regulations and HMRC.

Contact forms

The Mail Barn keep contact form submissions for a certain period for customer service purposes, but The Mail Barn do not use the information submitted through them for marketing purposes.

Who we share your data with

We will not share your data unless we are asked for it by HMRC.

What rights you have over your data

You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
